Healthy Nuts Recipes

1. Healthy Peanut Slices

Ingredients:

  • 300 g peanuts roasted
  • 100 g raisins
  • 60 g row honey
  • 50 g ghee (or organic butter)
  • Pinch of Himalayan salt
  • 200 g chocolate
  • 1 tbs organic coconut oil

Method:

Step 1

Pour hot water over the raisins and soak for 20 minutes. Then strain and dry with a paper towel. Transfer to a bowl.

Step 2

Put peanuts in a food processor and grind. Add honey, raisins and ghee and mix until smooth.

Step 3

Line a small mold with cling wrap. Pour the peanut mixture into a mold and press to even out.

 Step 4

Melt the chocolate and coconut oil over medium heat and spread evenly over the cake. Leave in the fridge for 2-3 hours to set, then cut into slices.

2. Easy Chocolate Dessert

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 bananas
  • 50 g organic cocoa powder
  • 1 tbs organic coconut oil
  • 100 g walnuts ground

Method:

Step 1

Put the oats in a food processor and finely blend. Add bananas, cocoa powder and coconut oil and blend until smooth. Transfer to a bowl.

Step 2

Take a spoonful of the mixture and roll it into a ball with your hands.
Repeat until done.

Step 3

Grind the walnuts in a food processor and transfer to a plate. Roll each ball over the walnuts and press to coat. Transfer to a serving plate.

3. Healthy Cacao Nut Slices

Ingredients:

  • 100 g almonds  
  • 100 g cashew nuts
  • 100 g sunflower seeds
  • 100 g peanuts
  • 100 g row honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbs sultanas
  • Pinch of Himalayan salt
  • 2 + 2 tbs organic coconut oil
  • 100 g organic cocoa powder
  • 3 tbs organic coconut milk

Method:

Step 1

Put almonds, cashew nuts, sunflower seeds and peanuts in a large pan and dry roast over medium low heat. Set aside to cool, then transfer to food processor and   blend.

Step 2

Put seeds to a medium bowl. Add cinnamon, salt, honey, 2 tbs of coconut oil and sultanas and mix well to combine.

Step 3

Coat the mold with coconut oil, or line it with cling wrap. Transfer the mixture to a mold and press around to even out. 

Step 4

Put cocoa powder and almond milk in a small pot, mix well and melt over medium   heat. Add 2 tbs of coconut oil, stir and remove from the heat. Set aside for 3 minutes, then spread evenly over the cake. Put in the refrigerator to firm up and cut into slices.
