Having green smoothie is one of the healthiest ways to start the day. It is a great source of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. Green smoothie can give you more physical strength, improve mental performance, help with weight-loss, lower cholesterol levels and boost your metabolism.

You can use any fruit or vegetables to make it, but here are three smoothie recipes that taste great:
Green Smoothie with Baby Spinach
- 1 1/2 cup of almond or soy milk
- 1 1/2 cups of baby spinach
- 1/3 avocado
- 1 green apple
- 1 banana
Banana Green Smoothie
- 150 ml almond or soy milk
- 1/4 avocado
- Handful of spinach
- 1 banana
- 1/2 kiwifruit peeled
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
Cucumber Smoothie
- 1/2 cup almond or soy milk
- 1 kiwifruit peeled
- ½ Lebanese cucumber
- 1 tbsp mint leaves
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Directions
- Wash fruits and vegetables in baking soda solution to remove pesticides
- Chop all chunky ingredients and put them into a blender
- Add fluids
- Blend for 30-45 seconds
- Enjoy!
