Homemade Rose Water
Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- Rose petals from 5 stems
- Distilled water
Directions:
Step 1
Remove the petals from the stems and rinse them under cold water to remove any residue.

Step 2
Add the petals to a large pot and pour in distilled water just to cover them. Do not add more water or you will dilute your rose water.

Step 3
Bring water to a boil and cover. Cook over low heat for 20 to 30 minutes or until the petals lose their colour.
Step 4
Strain the mixture to remove the petals. Discard the petals.
Step 5
Pour the rose water into a clean glass jar. After it has cooled, store the rose water in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.

How to Use Rose Water

- Skin tonic – Rose water is an excellent skin tonic. It refreshes the skin and gives it a shine.
- In the bath – Add a cup of rose water to your bath for extra hydration and relaxation.
