3 Simple Healthy Banana Recipes

1. Healthy Banana Pancakes

Step 1

Put the bananas, salt and eggs in a blender and mix until smooth.

Step 2

Cook as traditional pancakes.

2. Healthy Banana Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

  • 3 large ripe bananas
  • 2 large free-range eggs
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch Himalayan salt
  • 150 gr dark chocolate melted
  • 2 free-range egg whites

Method:

Step 1

Put chopped bananas, 2 eggs, vanilla extract and salt into a blender and mix until smooth. Transfer to a bowl.

Step 2

Melt the chocolate and add to the banana mixture and stir to combine.

Step 3

Beat 2 egg whites until firm and mix into the chocolate banana mixture.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a medium baking tray with baking paper, pour the cake mixture in and bake or 25 minutes, or until cooked through.

3. Healthy Banana Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 3 large ripe bananas meshed
  • 100 ml organic coconut oil
  • 1.5 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cups walnuts chopped
  • ½ tsp Himalayan salt
  • 2 tbs flaxseed ground
  • 3 tbs dried cranberries
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Method:

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Step 2

Mash the bananas in a bowl, add the coconut oil, rolled oats, walnuts, salt, flaxseed, cranberries, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Mix well until you get a smooth dough.

Step 3

Make small cookies with your hands and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
