Did You Know That… Body Detoxification…

Body detoxification is one of the most important things for a healthy life.

Obesity is known to be one of the biggest health problems in the modern world and besides maintaining optimal weight it is very important to detoxify vital organs in order to prevent the disease. Health risks of obesity and overweight include high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high level of triglycerides, stroke, gallbladder disease, fatty liver, type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease, osteoarthritis, and death.

People are exposed to harmful substances – from polluted air, water, food, cleaning agents, to environmental sources. When these harmful substances enter the body, they negatively affect the organs endangering overall health. If left untreated, these toxins cause a variety of illnesses that can be avoided or at least reduced by taking the necessary steps to detoxify the body.

Most of the toxins are fat soluble. They are stored in fatty tissues in the body, such as nerves, brain, glands, eyes, around the abdomen and, thighs. Toxic overload can cause many changes in your body.

In the early stages of toxic overload, the body tries to expel toxins so you may experience symptoms like:

  • diarrhoea
  • excessive urination
  • skin rush
  • sore throat
  • coughing and sneezing
  • nasal congestion
  • runny nose
  • heartburn

What is body detoxification?

After the toxins progressively accumulate in your body, you may experience fatigue, poor memory, sleep disorder, skin conditions, inflammatory conditions, and other.

There are many ways to detoxify the body, and one of the best and fastest ways to flush toxins out of the body is drinking water. Water carries toxins through the system via the bloodstream, expelling them through the lungs, intestines, or bladder.

Other ways to detoxify the body include:

  • Reduce intake of sugar and processed foods
  • Limit alcohol intake
  • Avoid junk foods
  • Avoid packaged products
  • Decrease salt intake
  • Eat foods rich in antioxidants
  • Eat foods high in probiotics
  • Eat fresh vegetables and fruits
  • Drink fresh vegetable juices

Once you stop taking in new toxins, your body will gradually cleanse itself. Using natural products for skin care and hygiene will prevent the introduction of toxins through the skin.

Physical activities such as walking, swimming, gardening, and cycling not only prevent obesity, but also help detoxify the body and greatly contribute to general health. Regular practice of deep breathing helps release toxins through the lungs.

Yoga, meditation, and regular screen-free time will clear your mind, clear brain fog and improve memory.
