Oat Loaf

Oat loaf is an excellent addition to your morning or afternoon tea. Try this recipe, it’s going to become your favorite.

Ingredients for Oat Loaf:

  • 2 cups rolled oats ground
  • 3 apples purred
  • 100 ml water
  • 3 tbs row honey
  • 3 free-range eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 1 pinch Himalayan salt
  • ½ cup walnuts

Method:

Step 1

Grind oats in a food processor and transfer to a medium bowl.

Step 2

Wash apples in a baking soda solution, rinse, dry, and peel. Roughly chop the apples, put them in a blender, add water and blend until smooth. Transfer to a bowl with ground oats. Add honey and eggs and stir thoroughly. Add cinnamon, salt, lemon juice, and baking powder and mix well to combine.

Step 3

Lay baking dish 25cm by 11 cm with baking paper. Preheat oven to 180°C. Transfer the batter to the baking dish and top with walnuts. Bake for 40 minutes or until cooked.

Serve with homemade ice cream.

Tips

  • You can replace apples with peaches or mango
  • You can replace honey with maple syrup
  • Can be served with whipped cream
  • You can use almonds instead of walnuts
