Vegan Grilled Tofu Recipes

Vegan grilled tofu with a spicy seasoning

Ingredients for the tofu:

  • 1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed
  • 50 ml soy sauce

Ingredients for the seasoning:

  • 1 tbs paprika
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp homemade seasoning
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • Extra virgin olive oil, for the grill

Directions:

Step 1

Slice tofu into 6-8 pieces. Then, press your tofu to remove excess moisture.

Step 2

Place soy sauce in a dish and add the tofu. Marinate, covered, and refrigerated for 45 minutes, turning once or twice to marinate evenly.

Step 3

In a medium bowl, combine the paprika, black pepper, Himalayan salt, garlic, onion powder, homemade seasoning, cayenne pepper, rosemary, and thyme. Mix well.

Step 4

Prepare gas or charcoal grill fire. To create a non-stick surface, oil the grill grates with olive oil.

Step 5

Remove the tofu from the soy marinade and place it in the bowl with the seasoning mixture. Toss it until the tofu is coated with the seasoning. Make sure the tofu is generously coated on both sides.

Step 6

Grill the tofu for about 10 minutes, until it has blackened on both sides.

Step 7

Serve with vegan salad.

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml organic apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbs paprika
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 1 tsp homemade seasoning
  • Extra virgin olive oil, for the grill
