2 Ways To Use Oranges For Skin Care

1. Orange Peel Cream

Ingredients:

  • Fresh peel of 1 orange
  • 2 tsp Rose Water
  • 2 tsp Aloe Vera gel
  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • A few strands of saffron

Directions:

Step 1

Soak the orange in a baking soda solution for 15 minutes, rinse and dry with a paper towel.

Step 2

Peel the orange and put the peel in a food processor. Add the rose water and process until smooth.

Step 3

Strain the mixture and add 2 teaspoons of Aloe Vera gel, 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil and saffron strands and mix well to combine.

Step 4

Place the cream in an air-tight container and refrigerate until it is used up.

Application:

Apply the cream on the cleansed face and gently massage for a few minutes until it is absorbed. Use daily until used up.

2. Day and Night Orange Cream

Ingredients:

  • Juice of 1 orange
  • ½ tsp Glycerine
  • 1 tsp organic coconut oil
  • 2 tsp Aloe Vera gel

Directions:

Step 1

Soak the orange in a baking soda solution for 15 minutes, rinse and dry with a paper towel.

Step 2

Squeeze the orange juice into a small bowl. Add the glycerine, coconut oil and Aloe Vera gel and mix until you get a smooth mixture.

Step 3

Put the cream in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator.

Application:

Apply the cream onto a clean face and massage until absorbed. Use it in the morning and in the evening for better results.
